Autumn footwear for changeable weather
Autumn can bring dry sunny days, rain and the first frost all in one week. That is why we make Babylon autumn footwear from genuine leather and nubuck, with breathable linings and hard-wearing soles. This section gathers women's and men's autumn styles: sneakers, high-top sneakers, trainers, loafers and boots.
All our footwear is handmade at our own factory in Kharkiv, where we have been making shoes since 1997. Each model has its own last, and quality is checked at every stage of production.
How to choose footwear for autumn
- For a warm September. Alen and DRIFT sneakers in genuine leather or nubuck. DRIFT has a breathable Respira leather lining and an anatomical last; the Alen-X versions are built on a last designed for wide feet.
- For rain and wind. Eclipse and Breakout high-tops cover the ankle, and the rubber coating on the toe guards against scuffs and knocks. Eclipse-13 and Eclipse-23 have a zip, so they are easy to put on.
- For a cold November. Men's Armor leather boots come with a Respira lining or a Winterfrost 500 insulating membrane rated from +5 to −15 °C on the product page. Women's Cozy nubuck boots have natural fur inside and a deep-tread sole.
- Women's autumn footwear. Alen leather sneakers, Aura nubuck trainers, Breeze loafers and Cozy boots.
In many models the insole is foam rubber covered with leather: it is soft and gradually takes the shape of your foot. Treat nubuck and suede with a water-repellent spray before the first rain, and smooth leather with cream. Dry a wet pair at room temperature, away from radiators.
