Black sneakers — practical everyday basics
Black sneakers are a basic pair that goes with almost everything. This section gathers Babylon black sneakers for men and women: low and high-tops, summer styles with mesh and warm fur-lined pairs. Men can wear them with jeans, cargo or chino trousers, and the clean leather styles even with a suit. Women pair them with dresses, blazers, tailored trousers and leather pieces.
We handmake our sneakers at our own factory in Kharkiv, where we have been making footwear since 1997. Every model has its own last, and quality is checked at each stage of production. In the section now:
- Men's leather and nubuck. Alen, Flow, Mexico-11, Montana, Brace and Vital in genuine leather; DRIFT-11, Alen-91 and Bourbon-13 in genuine nubuck. Space-11-X, Space-21 and Space-41 are made for wide feet.
- High-tops. Eclipse, Major-21 and Breakout-11, with a rubber-coated toe on Eclipse and Breakout.
- Women's black sneakers. Lovan-11 in nubuck on a chunky rubber sole, Vesta-11 in leather and suede, Velvet with Babylon rubber coating.
- Summer. Mexico-51, Montana-91, Space-31 and Vesta-91-Р combine mesh with genuine leather, nubuck or suede; Montana-911-P is perforated leather.
- Insulated. 1654, Mellow-11, Velvet-11 and Eclipse-91 with fur inside; Space-81-M and Space-91-M with natural sheepskin; Space-01-D and Space-91-D in double-face leather. There are also models with flannel lining or membrane insulation.
