FAQ
What does double face mean?
It is sheepskin tanned with the wool left on (shearling): leather on the outside, natural wool on the inside. There is no separate lining, so in these models leather and fur are one material.
How cold can it get in sheepskin boots?
Product pages state +5 to −20 °C for Frost and Short, and comfort down to −20 °C for UGM. Measure your foot in the socks you will wear with them so the pair is not tight — tight boots feel colder.
Can I wear sheepskin boots in wet snow?
Treat the pair with a water-repellent impregnation before the season and regularly during winter — it protects against moisture, salt and sand. If the boots get wet, dry them at room temperature, away from radiators and heaters.
Are there lace-up women’s sheepskin boots?
Yes, Polar-11 and Polar-24 have wide laces for a more precise fit and a light non-slip sole.

What double-face sheepskin is
All the sheepskin boots on this page are made of genuine double-face sheepskin. It is a single material: finished leather on the outside, thick sheep’s fur on the inside. There is no separate lining, so the fur itself keeps you warm, and the insole is covered with fur too. On some Frost, Short and UGM models the heel counter and decorative insert are genuine leather, and Frost-11 is double-face sheepskin with a smooth leather face. Nubuck shearling boots are in the general Sheepskin boots section.
What weather they are for
The product pages state warmth from +5 to −20 °C for Frost and Short, and comfort down to −20 °C for UGM. These boots are made for frost and dry snow; in slush, protect the sheepskin with a water-repellent treatment. Soles: TPE on Frost, EVA on Short, a light non-slip tread on Polar. On some models the sole is 3.5 cm high in the middle.

- Women’s: Frost-71, Frost-74, Frost-94, UG-1-41, UG-1-44, plus Polar-11 and Polar-24 with wide laces for a more precise fit.
- Men’s: Frost-11, Frost-14, Frost-84, Short-21, Short-31, Short-34, UGM-1-11, UGM-1-41, UGM-1-44, UGM-2-11 and UGM-2-18.
Sheepskin care
After each wear, clean the boots with a soft brush or dry cloth; treat stubborn stains with a cleaner for suede or genuine leather. Before the season and regularly after that, treat the pair with a water-repellent impregnation — it protects against moisture, salt and sand. Dry wet boots at room temperature with paper stuffed inside, never next to a radiator or heater. Brush the fur once it is dry.
How to choose your size
Measure your foot in the evening wearing the warm socks you will wear with the boots, and check the chart on the product page — it shows the recommended foot length. Do not automatically go a size up: your foot will slip and warmth will escape. The “Find my size” button on the product page takes the fur inside the model into account.
