Ballet flats are light, flat shoes for spring, summer and a warm autumn. They suit a working day, travel and long walks around the city, when you want to look neat without wearing heels. Babylon makes them at our family-owned factory in Kharkiv, which has been making shoes since 1997; every model has its own last, and every pair goes through quality control.
Models in the range
- Muse. 100% genuine leather, a genuine leather lining and a hard-wearing sole. Leather breathes and gradually shapes itself to your foot.
- Perle. Quality eco-leather with a soft insole, in milk white and black. An elastic edge keeps the pair on your foot as you walk.
Both models are easy to wear with jeans, dresses, skirts and a suit. A black pair is the simplest office option, while milk white freshens up a summer outfit.
If you are choosing between different types, think about fit. Lace-up or tie-up styles can be tightened, and the elastic in Perle does the same without knots. Knitted versions are lighter and silicone ones do not mind water, but both hold their shape worse than leather. A small heel adds a few centimetres of height, but a flat sole is more comfortable over a long distance.
Wipe leather with a damp cloth and treat it with a matching cream from time to time; clean eco-leather with a soft cloth and mild soap. Every product page has a size chart.
