All suggestions or questions regarding this privacy policy should be reported to the «contacts» section.
10. GOOGLE CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
10.1. After placing an order, the user may be offered to take part in the Google Customer Reviews survey program. Participation is voluntary. If the user agrees, Google will send an email to the address provided after the estimated delivery date asking the user to rate the store. For this purpose Google receives the order number, email address, delivery country and estimated delivery date. Google processes this data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
10.2. The website uses third-party services, including Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Customer Reviews) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). These services may use cookies to analyse traffic, display the reviews badge and show ads based on previous visits to the website.
10.3. Users can opt out of personalised Google advertising in Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or on the Network Advertising Initiative website (https://optout.networkadvertising.org), and can restrict cookies in their browser settings.
10.4. If you did not provide an e-mail address at checkout, you can optionally add it on the “Order placed” page. This e-mail is stored with your order and used only to contact you about this order and to invite you to the Google Customer Reviews survey (clause 10.1); we do not subscribe it to any newsletters.
11. FIRST-PARTY TECHNICAL COOKIES
11.1. The website stores first-party technical cookies bb_ft and bb_lt in your browser (for up to 30 days) containing the name of the advertising campaign or website you came from and the date of your visit — no name, phone number or other personal data. This data is used only to record where orders come from; you can delete these cookies in your browser settings.
12. ON-SITE CHAT ASSISTANT
12.1. The website offers the “Babylon virtual assistant” — a chat answered by artificial intelligence (the Claude model by Anthropic PBC, USA). The chat opens only after you click the “Ask Babylon” button.
12.2. What is processed: the text of your messages, the language and address of the page you write from; an order number and phone number (full or the last 4 digits) — only if you enter them to check an order status; a phone number or e-mail — only if you leave them so a manager can contact you. To generate replies, the conversation text is sent to Anthropic as a service provider (processor) under Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy). Your name, delivery address and other order details are not passed to the assistant; an order status is shown only when the order number and phone match.
12.3. Purpose: to answer your question, show your order status and pass your request to a manager. Conversations are stored in our database for 30 days and are accessible only to store staff; technical logs contain only counters and the question type, without personal data. Your device (browser localStorage) keeps the conversation ID and recent messages for up to 30 days; you can delete them with the “New chat” button or in your browser settings.
12.4. Do not send passwords, bank card details or other sensitive information in the chat. The assistant's answers are for information only; the terms of purchase are set by the Public Offer, and a manager provides the final information.
13. META ADVERTISING MEASUREMENT
13.1. To measure advertising performance, the website sends Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram), via the Meta pixel and the Conversions API, data about actions on the website (product views, adding to cart, checkout, purchase), your IP address, browser data, Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc) and a random browser identifier bb_vid (a first-party technical cookie, up to 180 days, containing no name, phone number or other personal data).
13.2. If you place an order, the phone number and e-mail given in the order are sent to Meta only in hashed form (SHA-256, a one-way transformation; Meta does not receive them in plain text). To match later actions on the same device in the same way, the hashes are stored in the first-party cookie bb_am for up to 90 days. No new data is collected for this. Meta uses this data only to match events to ads and measure them, in accordance with the Meta Privacy Policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy).
13.3. You can delete these cookies in your browser settings and manage ads in Meta ad preferences (https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences).
14.1. Visitors from the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (we determine the country from the IP address) see a cookie consent banner. Until you make a choice, only necessary cookies are used: no analytics or marketing cookies are set, and Meta (Facebook, Instagram) receives no events at all — neither from your browser nor from our server (Conversions API). Before consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads run in Google Consent Mode: without cookies and without a browser identifier, sending only anonymised technical signals.
14.2. The “Accept all”, “Necessary only” and “Customize” buttons (analytics and marketing separately) are equal choices. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page; when you withdraw it, the cookies of that category are deleted. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. Your choice is stored in the bb_consent cookie for 12 months, after which we will ask again.
14.3. For visitors from the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the legal basis for analytics and marketing cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC). Necessary cookies work without consent because the cart and checkout cannot work without them. The campaign tags of the current visit (utm) are kept on the server in the session and with the order to record where orders come from (legitimate interest), without any additional cookies on your device. For visitors from other countries, including Ukraine, cookies work as described in sections 10–13; you can delete them in your browser settings.
14.4. Necessary (always on): the website session cookie (its technical name is a random string; cart and checkout, until the browser is closed); gip — country for currency and delivery (12 months); lang_choice — language choice (12 months); bb_consent — your cookie choice (12 months); browser local storage — checkout form data, the “Find my size” profile, the chat assistant history (on your device only).
14.5. Analytics (with consent): _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 (up to 2 years); bb_ft, bb_lt — where you came to the site from (30 days, section 11).
14.6. Marketing (with consent): _gcl_au and other _gcl_* — Google Ads (90 days); _fbp, _fbc — Meta pixel (90 days); bb_vid — a random browser identifier for Meta (180 days); bb_am — hashes of the order contact details for Meta (90 days, section 13). With marketing consent, data is shared with Google and Meta as described in sections 10 and 13.
