Women's High-Top Sneakers

Women's high-top sneakers cover the ankle and hold the foot securely, so a good pair can be worn from the first cool days of spring to late autumn, and with a fur lining through winter as well. Ours are made by hand in genuine leather, nubuck and natural pony hair. Many models let you choose the lining, which means one design you like can be ordered for the season you need.

What should you wear with high-top sneakers?

High-tops have a bit more presence than low sneakers, which makes them easy to style.

• Straight or cropped jeans. Let the hem rest just above the collar, or tuck slim jeans in for a cleaner line.
• Dresses and skirts. A midi dress with leather high-tops balances a feminine piece with something sturdy.
• Wide trousers. The hem falls over the shoe and only the toe shows; choose a calm leather or nubuck pair.
• Coats and parkas. A high collar looks proportionate under longer outerwear.

Smooth leather, nubuck or pony hair high-tops?

• Smooth leather. Clean lines and easy care: a damp cloth and cream keep it looking sharp. Space-80-X and Space-81-X are all leather.
• Nubuck. A matt, velvety surface that looks softer and more casual. Velour-13, Velour-17 and Space-84-X are in genuine nubuck.
• Nubuck with leather. Space-74-X and the Alen-X models mix the two, so the pair has texture without looking heavy.
• Pony hair. Natural hair on leather adds a focal point; it is a choice for drier days.

Respira or fur lining: which season are you buying for?

On the Space-X and Alen-X high-tops the lining is chosen on the product page. Respira is a breathable Italian lining leather that suits spring and autumn. Natural fur turns the same design into a winter pair; on most models it costs a little extra, on Space-61-X it is the same price. Velour comes with Respira only, so treat it as a warm-season pair.

If cold weather is your main concern, our fur-lined winter sneakers collect the warm models, including the fur-lined Eclipse-64 with a liquid-rubber coated toe and heel.

How do women's high-top sneakers fit?

Sizes run EU 36–41. Each model has its own anatomical last; Space-80-X, Space-81-X and Space-74-X are made on a full-size last, and Space-84-X on a full-width one. Measure your foot length in centimetres in the evening and compare it with the size chart for the model. For a fur-lined pair, measure in the sock you will wear in winter. When you try them on, the collar should sit snugly around the ankle without pressing, and the heel should not lift as you walk.

How do you look after leather and nubuck high-tops?

Wipe smooth leather with a damp cloth and feed it with cream now and then. Brush nubuck when dry and protect it with a spray before the first wear. After rain, let the pair dry at room temperature, away from radiators, and keep the shape with paper inside. Pony hair only needs a soft cloth, brushed with the direction of the hair.
