  Washington-14 in brown — a high treaded sole and an Italian Respira leather lining keep Washington comfortable in the colder months. Every pair is handmade.

  • Respira lining. Breathable Italian leather lets air through and won’t rub, even on long days.
  • Soft insole. Leather-covered and moulds to your foot.
  • High treaded sole. Keeps the cold of the ground away, grips well on slippery surfaces and is built to last. The insulated version stays comfortable below 0 °C.
  • Italian hardware. Metal fittings made in Italy.
  • Handmade. Every pair is made and inspected at Babylon’s family-owned factory in Kharkiv, Ukraine.

  Care recommendations for nubuck sneakers

  1. Cleaning. Use a special nubuck brush to remove dust and dirt. Do not use water, as it may damage the material.
  2. Protection. Before first use and regularly thereafter, treat the sneakers with a special protective spray for nubuck. This will help keep moisture and dirt out.
  3. Drying. If the sneakers get wet, let them dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not dry the shoes on radiators or with a hairdryer.
  4. Storage. Store the sneakers in a cool, dry place. Use special shoe trees or stuff them with paper to maintain their shape.
  5. Color restoration. Use special nubuck products to restore color. Test on a small inconspicuous area before applying.
  6. Cleaning rubber trim. Simply wipe the rubber trim with a damp cloth to clean it.
