The winter footwear sale is on at the Babylon online store. It is a good moment to get a warm pair before the frosts arrive and to choose a model made from natural materials at our own factory in Kharkiv. Babylon has been making shoes since 1997, and every pair is still assembled by hand.

Winter footwear sale: what to know about the models

The section currently features the Short and UGM men's ugg boots. They differ in character, but they are built on the same principles.

• Upper. Short uses genuine double-face sheepskin with a genuine leather heel counter and tongue detail. UGM-4 has a genuine nubuck upper.
• Insulation. Inside there is thick, dense natural sheepskin fur. It holds warmth well and still lets air through, so your feet do not overheat or get damp.
• Sole. UGM models have a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) sole: flexible, hard-wearing and it does not stiffen in the cold.
• Last. The factory develops its own last for every model, so the fit stays consistent from pair to pair.

How to choose your size and care for winter boots

Winter boots should never pinch. Leave a little room between your toes and the front of the boot so that warm air stays inside, while the heel is held firmly in place. A size chart is available on every product page. If you are unsure, message our online support, which answers every day from 9:00 to 20:00.

Clean sheepskin and nubuck with a dry brush and let them dry at room temperature, away from radiators. Before the season starts, treat the upper with a water-repellent spray to keep it looking good for longer.
